These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the TechX Ventures website at techx.sg (the “Website”). By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website. 

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Where you access the Website from outside Singapore, you are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws.

1. About TechX Ventures

TechX Ventures Pte. Ltd. (“TechX Ventures”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is a private subsidiary of HTX (Home Team Science & Technology Agency), incorporated in Singapore (UEN: 202323617C). We operate the Website to provide information about our programmes, events, and services, and to facilitate lead generation and mailing list subscriptions. 

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Where you access the Website from outside Singapore, you are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws.

2. Eligibility

By using the Website, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Website on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organisation to these Terms. 

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Where you access the Website from outside Singapore, you are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws.

3. Use of the Website

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use and enjoyment of the Website. You must not: 

  • Use the Website in any way that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation

You may access and view the Content for personal, non-commercial informational purposes only. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any Content without our prior written consent. 

The TechX Ventures name, logo, and related marks are trademarks of TechX Ventures Pte. Ltd. Nothing on the Website grants you any licence or right to use these marks without our prior written consent. 

5. Forms, Lead Generation, and Mailing Lists

The Website includes forms for enquiries, lead generation, and newsletter/mailing list subscriptions. By submitting your information through these forms, you: 

  • Confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete
  • Consent to us processing your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy
  • Where subscribing to our mailing list, consent to receiving communications from us about our programmes, events, and services

You may unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any communication we send you, or by contacting us at connect@txv.sg.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Website and all Content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. 

We do not warrant that: 

  • The Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components

  • Any defects in the Website will be corrected

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TechX Ventures, its parent company HTX, officers, employees, agents, and partners shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

  • Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the Content
  • Unauthorised access to or alteration of your data
  • Any other matter relating to the Website

Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total liability to you shall not exceed SGD 100.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless TechX Ventures and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your use of the Website or any breach of these Terms.

Your use of the Website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read our Privacy Policy carefully to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. 

11. Modifications to the Website and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Website (or any part of it) at any time without notice. We also reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. 

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore for the resolution of any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of the Website. 

If you are accessing the Website from the European Union or other jurisdictions with mandatory consumer protection laws, nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit rights that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be deemed modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed from these Terms if modification is not possible. The remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. 

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and TechX Ventures regarding your use of the Website and supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings relating to the subject matter.
