Hatch is HTX’s innovation centre that curates structured access between the world’s frontier deep-tech solutions to solve real world use-cases and needs faced by public safety agencies, such as Singapore’s Home Team. Our capabilities sit in the design and development of programmes and innovation pathways, end-user engagement and capacity development, and building international deep-tech networks.
Dimension X is Hatch’s flagship global open innovation challenge where deep-tech solutions are crowdsourced to solve public safety challenges faced by Singapore’s Home Team. This 4-month programme creates opportunities for product-market fit for start-ups interested in public safety by providing a needed balance: between rapid validation of a proof-of-concept, and actual operational requirements.
Hatch & Match is Hatch’s tech curation programme that directly scouts for the most suitable deep-tech solution to match with a clearly defined challenge. The core is intentionality of product-solution fit: Distilling challenges through careful framing and analyses, identify winning approaches, and tailored scouting of solutions from our proprietary international networks and database.
In-Beta is Hatch’s 8-week tech verification capability that creates objective experimental evidence of technologies within Hatch’s orbit for downstream end-user engagement in potentially modernising and transformative public safety concepts. The programme de-risks exploration of new technologies via targeted experiments and demonstrations to verify specific technological propositions, and creates necessary evidence and data to support downstream R&D investments by HTX.
